So there’s this drink I came up with.  I wanted something a little extra included in my journey towards better health, and I wanted it all in one convenient place.  I wanted it to taste good, I wanted it to take like 5 minutes to make, and I wanted to have easy access to all the ingredients in it.

And thus comes the drink with more than 30 health benefits.  Almost everything healthy is in it, along with the potential to make you feel like your best.  And yes, I’m sharing the recipe with you because I like nice people, and this year I decided to become one of them. 😉

But before we go on to the wonder that is nature, I want to share the health benefits I found this drink has.  I was stunned to find as many as I did, and I can’t wait for you to be as stunned as I was. (The findings I found came from different websites that know all about nature’s many wonders.;))

Somehow, whenever I make this drink, and whenever I drink this drink, I feel like I’m in control of my health again.  It may not be the only thing I need to feel my best (exercise and an overall healthy meal plan need to be intact as well), but it’s something that helps me feel as though I am actually in control of my life again.  And I hope it makes you feel the same way!

Now, if you disagree on the amount of everything in the recipe, you can change it to your desired amount, but try to remember that you can overdose on the spices, so try to keep it balanced.

1 green tea bag

I personally love this one!

Uncle Lee's Tea Legends of China Organic Green Tea, 100 Count

2 Tbs pure cranberry juice

It’s important that it’s “pure” cranberry juice.

1 Tbs honey

I hear raw honey is always best!!

1/4-1/2 tsp cinnamon

I personally love their brand!

Price: CDN$ 15.98

1/4-1/2 tsp ginger

Try to find the best quality!

1/4-1/2 tsp turmeric

Same goes for the turmeric.

2 c boiled water

Add in all the ingredients, pour the water over them (after it’s cooled for about 5 minutes), stir, and drink up.  To me it tastes like Christmas in the best way!

But! If you live in a tropical land where there is no known cold, or you just can’t stand hot drinks, you just add 1 cup of boiled water and fill the rest with ice! 🙂

I hope you give this thing a try, and let me know what you think of it in the comment section down below.  It’s not a drink concocted by scientists or doctors, just your average girl trying to find her way in the world and trying to help you find theirs!
